Health InfoNet of Alabama is a free consumer health information service of the state’s public and medical libraries. Respect for the privacy of our users and protecting confidentiality of all transactions are primary values driving this service. Personally identifying information will not be solicited by librarians assisting users with this service. When such information is voluntarily provided by users to facilitate receipt of information assistance, it will be kept by Health InfoNet librarians only so long as necessary to complete the transaction, then it will be erased or otherwise securely discarded. No user information will ever be provided to third parties.
