World AIDS Day and AIDSInfo
Page Content
Thirty years ago the first reports of strange and rare infections in young gay men began to appear in the medical literature. That was the beginning of our country's experience of the what came to be known as the AIDS epidemic. In honor of World AIDS Day 2011, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services has released its redesigned AIDSInfo web site. Resources of this site include medical practice guidelines, treatment and prevention research studies, educational materials for consumers, and information on approved and new HIV/AIDS-related drugs. There is also a Spanish language site available at http://infosida.nih.gov/. The theme of this year's World AIDS Day is "Leading with Science, Uniting for Action." Take action today and check out these informative sites!
